Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile 2025

Also this year, the University of Padua, continuing its commitment to disseminating the themes of the UN 2030 Agenda is participating in the new edition of the Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile 2025 (Festival of Sustainable Development) as part of UniPadova Sostenibile.

Promoted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) in collaboration with RUS (Network of Universities for Sustainable Development), it is the largest national initiative for promoting the themes of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The project aims to raise awareness and mobilize citizens, younger generations, businesses, associations, and institutions on the themes of economic, social, and environmental sustainability, to spread the culture of sustainability, and to bring about cultural and political changes that will enable Italy to implement the United Nations 2030 Agenda and achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The University is participating in this eighth edition, from May 7 to 23, with a rich calendar of events and initiatives promoted and organized by all components of the university community. The program of UniPadova initiatives will soon be available on the website www.sostenibile.unipd.it.

The University of Padua, which created and promotes the UniPadova Sostenibile project as a container and catalyst for initiatives aimed at sustainability, intends to coordinate and give visibility to all actions organized by the University on sustainability, involving the entire university community, from students and staff to governing bodies. Furthermore, it encourages and supports the launch of new initiatives, the development and implementation of good practices, and their transfer and dissemination within the university community and externally in the territory.
